Guide to foreign funding sources available for Ukrainian non-profits

The Innovation and Development Centre (a Ukrainian non-profit organization) is pleased to present this directory of foreign donor programs applicable to Ukraine. The IDC compiled this directory in response to numerous requests it received from non-profit organization across the country. This is the second edition of such a directory that the IDC has been publishing since 1998. The first directory Funding for Civil Society: A Guide to U.S. Grontmakers Giving in Ukraine was jointly published with VOICE International: Voluntary Organization Initiative in Central & Eastern Europe/Eurasia. VOICE is a clearinghouse and technical assistance organization that facilitates the exchange of information between the U.S. and other countries to support the formation, diversity and independence of civic organizations in Central and Eastern Europe, The previous directory had 25 entries and presented profiles of U.S. based grantmakers* The directory was warmly received by the Ukrainian non-profit sector and encouraged the IDC to compile a second edition including European sources of funding. Consequently, this edition was enlarged to 68. entries. (Intruduction, fragment)
